I didn't want to push Daku's post about Wikipedia down, but there was a lot of other stuff today that I had to mention while it was still relevant. So read this, donate to Child's Play and then go read the posts below this and make comments so that we develop some discussion and maybe even a flame war. We've been months without a flame war.

Housd and Narbonic Leave Us
A moment of silence for all the strips who are no longer updating…
I always seem to be the one to report the sad news. Housd is done. After over three and a half years and 1284 strips, Ali Graham has ended the strip no one thought would ever miss an update let alone come to completion.
Review: On the Origins of the PCs by Rich Burlew
I'm a big fan of Rich Burlew's strip Order of the Stick. It was one of the first strips I started reading regularly and is still one of the first ones I check on update days. I've wanted to read the book 'On the Origins of the PCs' for quite some time now and thanks to Daku, I finally got my shot.
Don’t Mind Me, Mind the PVP Podcast
It's really early in the morning where I am, well really early if you were up until 2:30 last night ' which I was. Any who, I saw that Scott Kurtz, the man behind PVP, will be hosting a live podcast tonight at 9 p.m. That's 8 for me, 10 for you on the East Coast and well you get the picture.
Child’s Play Looks to Help Even More Kids this Year.
It's that time of years again. Doesn't it seem like people put Christmas decorations up earlier and earlier every year? Place third cliché holiday time intro here. But along with all the other hustle and/or bustle the end of the year is a time for the Web comics and video games communities to rally behind two of our biggest heroes and show the world that we're not as anti-social or greedy as they say we are. Of course, I'm talking about Child's Play.? Continue reading
You Don’t Have to be Crazy to Work Here, but We Are
Why Long is Wrong
So I've been trying to upload a comic to the site (yes we still do those) and it wasn't working so I got mad. Then I decided to read comics because they bring peace to my heart (and someday, the world). I went to Questionable Content which was funny and full of girls fighting, so that it made me happy. But then I read Jaques' rant on the side of the comic and now I'm mad again putting me right back where I started. Thanks for nothing Jeph!
Medium Large looks to go just plain large
Medium Large, a hilarious daily look at modern pop culture by Francesco Marciuliano, is taking a few days off. Rather than giving some lame excuse like health reason or family, Marciuliano is doing it to put together a syndication package. Yep, he's looking to make the big jump from the Web page to the news page.
Taking 24 hour Comics to the World
Well it's over. The annual 24 hour comic day have come and gone again. It happened on Saturday the 8th. I'll admit I hardly noticed this time. In years past some big names have gone all out and posted some great work spawned from the event.
Roosters don’t have Teeth, but their Comic’s got Bite
It's officially Fall now. Leaves are clogging gutters across the country, the World Series has started (go Yankees, by the way) and sweet sweet candy is available at holiday prices.
Along with all these other signs of winter's approach, many Internet sites that took the summer off are back in session. My personal favorite that has just started back up is the machinima series Red vs. Blue (not a Web comic, I know, I'm getting to that part) by Rooster Teeth productions.
