We Love Web Comics 2007

We’ve just posted our 100th podcast and we’re quickly coming up on our 2 year anneversary. I believe we all know what that means. The third annual We Love Web Comics contest is upon us and it’s time to figure out what the prize is going to be.

This year the way it works is I’m throwing in $200 of the site’s money as a base. Here’s where you come in. Anything that get’s sent to me between now and the beginning of the contest gets thrown into the pot. Anything in the pot will be photoed and posted with contest in addition to every single item being listed and linked to on the site.

Is He Gone Yet?

I’m Not Dead, Yes You Are!

You’ve heard about it on the podcasts and now here’s the official contest. We are officially starting the Death to Zampzon contest. Some of you who’s memory is better then mine might remember eons ago we announced Zampzon was leaving our merry band of pirate-ninjas and started a rumor of a contest where you would draw a strip detailing the demise of the mighty. The rumors are now confirmed so those entries that have already been sent to us are still valid for the contest.

[Contest] And We Have a Winner!

When we said we were going to announce the winner of the contest over the weekend I couldn’t help but laugh maniacally that it was April 1st. Just how bad of a comic could we make and say was the winner? Then the whole work thing got in the way and here we are. We had a plethora of entries with a particular contestant submitting 13 different ones.

You’re probably asking is that EST or PST? Well we’re a bunch of nice guys so we’ll make that PST. That means every entry must make it to our inbox by 8am GMT.

[Contest] We Love Webcomics 2!

Weekly reminder of our HUGE contest. The annual Digital Strips ‘We Love Webcomics’ contest is running strong but we’re predicting at least twice the participation this year. Don’t forget this year’s prizes can be won in two ways. The first prize will go to our favorite comic and Nominations will be based on art and writing, but most importantly creativity. Last Day for September Scavenger Hunt Entries

Today is the last day that we will accept entries for this months Web Comic Scavenger Hunt. Gather your list of links to individual web comics with this month’s topic in them, demons, and email them to digital.strips@gmail.com to enter the contest. The winner will be announced on our next show.
