Mixed Match Challenge had an off week, but that’s ok because we also have ANNOUNCER BEEF! Also, the CWC is back with HHH running 205 Live now, and that’s a-ok with us. All that, plus: Jason Jordan is now officially out, Alexa fears and fights for her title, Bayley has a good match (YES!), Elias proves he’s main event material, Shane denies Rusev Day, the SmackDown Live Top 10 list is finally here and it’s lame, Zayn vs. Owens is still a delight even when surrounded with BS booking, you need to check out Heavy Machinery like NOW, and we’re replacing Steve with an Alexa-enabled device.
Look around backstage, you never know who, or what, you might find! Strowman’s brute strength is again our highlight this week, but there are other items worth nothing, like: Rusev deserves all of the … accolades, Jordan is still the smarmiest, slimiest heel on Raw, Paige hears some bad news, Matt and Bray inch closer to a new thing, TJP throws a fit after a CWC rematch, Titus and Apollo make it a win, exasperated Joe is the best Joe, Dakota Kai is a really good sport, and Shane is still the worst. Finally, just how DOES one watch a Facebook Watch?
Celebrate the new year with a new episode of Pro Grapplers! It’s been a while, but we’re barreling towards the Royal Rumble, and the various stories are taking shape. We’re still thankful that every day is Rusev Day, but can we trust WWE to take it more seriously than they did the Fashion Police? Also, is Shane just a dick, or is something more sinister coming from his rivalry with Daniel Bryan? Matt Hardy is now Woken, but will he ever do more than just laugh a lot? Will we ever find a reason to hate Samoa Joe? And can this please, PLEASE be Kane’s final shot at a title?
That was one HELL of a show! Hell in a Cell is over and we have at least one match of the year candidate out of the entire card. Once the guys stop gushing about the tag match and pondering the future for Owens and Zayn, it’s time to talk Raw and the impact the reunited Shield is already having. TLC is gearing up to be a good show, but who will use the T, who will ask for the L, and who can’t wait to see the C? Also, Jason was right about two of his predictions and he makes sure everyone knows it.
It seems like it’s been forever, but it’s time for another WWE PPV Special Live Event! No Mercy is upon us, and there’s loads to talk about, including exploring the Suplex City in our hearts, Shane McMahon’s punchable face, Vinny Mac’s need to bleed, RACISM, the continual mishandling of Shinsuke Nakamura, The Miz back doing what he’s best at, Neville and Strowman’s superiority, and a good Roman Reigns promo. Tune in Sunday and see how many things we were wrong about!
One week later, we’re already tired of the Cena/Reigns beef, weiner-measuring contest and all. But don’t worry, because KO and Shane are coming to blows on SmackDown over a mention of some kids. Also, Carmella can’t make up her mind while failing to convince us the MITB was a good idea. Enzo’s getting far too many chances, Ziggler is collapsing like a dying star, and Asuka is done with NXT. At least week 2 of the Mae Young Classic will buoy your spirits until better things come along. Oh, and Strowman/Show tore it up yet again. Go watch that on repeat.
The lesser of the big two is here, it’s time for SummerSlam! Join Jason and Steve as they praise Titus Worldwide for the joy and wonder that they bring to the world, ask just when the Intercontinental Title will be defended again, plead that we all get on the same page when a MITB cash-in is made, predict a Carmella cash-in, fantasy book Shane-o-mac’s Precarious Structure Vision, ponder whether or not the Jindtourage will grow again, and convince each other that the new Universal champion will look good with the strap.
We’re nearly there, Maniamaniacs, and the sign is getting so big, we have to remove seats in the arena! In the buildup to the Showcase of the Immortals, the nUsos take the SD Tag Team belts, Shane-o-mac makes bad decisions, Raw becomes a rudderless ship, and the guys ask the important questions, like: who DID win the first Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal? (It was Cesaro.)
