Pro Grapplers Episode 61: Mahal, The King’s Man

Spinal Tap is lost backstageSure, we’re all thrilled AJ won the title, but how long will he hold it? Also, did WWE, in fact, hinder the Jinder? Also, Total Divas participation seems to be the best path to job security in WWE right now, we worry that Sami and KO might not do anything at Survivor Series, Raw proves just how dumb they (or at least Angle) are/is, Steve still isn’t sold on the New Day/Shield match for SS, intergender matches remain a kitschy novelty in WWE, and Lucha Underground will open the temple for yet another season.

Pro Grapplers Episode 56: More Like Jinder Mah-balls

Shane McMahon vs. Kurt Angle at King of the RingRaw didn’t have much this week, but if you can’t get behind a slow build to a Shield reunion, there’s nothing you’ll like on the WWE main roster this week. Meanwhile, Hell in a Cell is tomorrow we don’t really care because: one or both of the Hype Bros might turn, Roode’s entrance will outdo Ziggler’s, Orton will have an Orton-ass match, The Usos and New Day will steal the show, Shane/KO will end badly, and we hope the U.S. and WWE Championships swap places. Finally, should we care about what’s going on with Bray? History should steer you on this one. Enjoy the Cell and hope for no Hell!

Ric Flair stand defiant after battling from the brinkThe Mae Young Classic has arrived and Jason gives you the skinny on the first round of matches! Who soared? Who tumbled? In other WWE views this week, Raw moved towards No Mercy while SmackDown Live floundered under the weight of a boring main event scene. Noam Dar attempts to enjoy his Pizza Hut Cheesy Bites Pizza but is interrupted by The ClubJason still loves the Fashion Files, but has no time for Facetime in wrestling matches and thought Raw was a rerun this week. Iron CrotchLike the sturdiest and most tested of crotches, we return with another episode of the first and best webcomics podcast! Did you know that Steve is bad at Cities Skylines? Or that Jason has been treating his PS4 like a Steam account? You’ll learn that and more by listening to the first segment. The second segment will inform you about Lucha Underground (yes, again), Our Valued Customers, One-Punch Man, Jasmine Wall, and Wicked Crispy. Swing hard and often, fellas, this crotch didn’t reinforce itself overnight you know!

Episode 432: What About B.o.B.?

Beef trademarkOne half of the Digital Strips crew loves Twitter beeves. One half couldn’t care less, especially when it’s between an American astrophysicist and a hip-hop artist. Which half is the better one? While you think about that and whether or not a Wonderella movie starring H. Jon Benjamin would be the best thing (hint: it would), you can also listen for some hot takes on webcomics! Jason works in some wrestling conversations around the comic tie-ins for Lucha Underground, while Steve brought Tumbledry and Plox for the two of them to enjoy and discuss. Stick around after a short outro for instructions on how to form your own children’s Power Ranger Zord. It’s … more complicated than you might think.
