Dork Tower Get Harvey Nod

I’m back. Well not really, in a geographical sense I’m still gone. But I’m settled down for a bit and have a dialup connection and I’m sick of sitting on the sidelines so in a limited way, I’m back and happy to be so.

Because I only have dialup, I haven’t been able to follow all my usual strips for the last month. Today I finally decided to check and see what Dork Tower was up to these days. As it turns out, not much. Apparently John Kovalic has had his hands full of late and has been able update his strip as much as he (and his fans) would like.

You’ll Have That Signed!

I totally dropped the ball on this announcement but at least I’m getting it posted the day of. Wes Molebash’s first comic book (You’ll Have That) signing of the year is today, June 3rd! The signing will be at ACME Comics which is located at 94 W. Water St in downtown Chillicothe, OH. He’ll be signing books and drawing sketches from 4 PM to 8 PM!

But here’s the real kicker – we’re giving an entire stack of You’ll Have That Vol. 1 away FOR FREE! To top that we’ll be giving away YHT posters and button sets FOR FREE! Just stop by the store, give me a shout, and I’ll hand you a book, a poster, and some buttons! I’ll even whip up a little sketchy sketch for you! So make sure to get there early, because when they’re gone they’re gone. When ACME orders a new supply of books they’ll charge the full price ($4.95), so no rain checks.

Even the Guys In Blank Label Celebrate Their One Year

It always seems the biggest news any strip pr collective can make is getting to the one year marker, and Blank Label Comics is no different. BLC was formed May 23, 2005, by a small group of keenspotters in Brad Guigar, Paul Southworth, Kristofer Straub, Paul Taylor, Steve Troop and David Willis. A year later the group has been living up to all the hype and has added 3 new members since.

To celebrate their anniversary there’s going to be a drawing. The winner of the drawing will receive a signed book from every member of Blank Label. To enter, send your name and address to drawing blanklabelcomics.com

Digital Strips : Show 75
