It looks like I finally have some news to report that Midnight hasn’t peeked your interest with.

The Front – This is a great superhero comic we reviewed way back on show 18. That brings back memories of the old days when it was weird just to find a superhero comic. Well Jerzy dropped me a line to tell me that he has completed a full-color one-shot story called THE ORIGIN OF JARED. It’s an all-ages story about the mercenary characters from THE FRONT. The bad news though is THE FRONT is finishing its 6-issue run this October and there are only 2 pages left. In celebration you can hear audio commentary discussing the book page by page, the ideas behind the story, and the techniques used to draw the comic.

Grounded Angel – One of the more popular web comics at Komikwerks has relaunched at three webcomics sites and will update every single weekday. Grounded Angel is the story of 16-year-old Gloria, who finds out during a really bad day that she’s an angel, the herald to the end of the world. Possessed of strange and terrifying powers, she’s on the run from the forces of good and the forces of evil – at the same time!

Captain August – Captain August has entered its third year and I bet this year is going to confuse me just as much as the first two.
