Nodwick To Hench For Spidey

Aaron Williams of Nodwick, Full Frontal Nerdity (my current favorite name for a web comic) and PS238 has officially his the big time. He announced yesterday on his site that he will be having a script he wrote published by Marvel comics. The story will be available in Spiderman Unlimited #13 (scroll down a little for the info) and will be drawn by Casey Jones and Tim Smith so it should look great.

Whether you love them or hate them, Marvel is the big leagues and this is great showcase for Williams?s talent. He?s already shown his skill for superhero story telling as well as the wry sense of humor needed to do Spiderman justice.

Jon of Goats is raising money through two methods to support the New York City chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. His wife Amy is running the NYC Marathon and is looking for donations. Also he will be donating $1 from every Goats shirt sold through the end of the month.

I don?t think I need to talk about how horrible MS can be and how great it would be to help the web comics community do its part to fight this disease.

Finally, not really news just and site that I stumbled across today thought you guys might get a kick out of it. Webcomic Tattoos is just what it sounds like; these guys have tattooed their favorite web comic character permanently onto their bodies. That?s dedication that I have to salute. A few look more like sharpie than tattoo ink but still, that can be really hard to wash off sometimes.

Leave comments about what web comic character you?re so dedicated to that you?d permanently mark yourself with their image.
