LIFELIKE will update on Tuesdays and Thursdays for AOL users, and a day later for the rest of the world.

“I think slice-of-life comics have a gotten a bad rap,” says Dara Naraghi, creator of Lifelike. “Most people associate them with stories of whinny twentysomethings moping about lost loves, or art school grads obsessing about dead end retail jobs. But if you think about it, this is a genre that’s open to so many different storytelling opportunities.”

“With LIFELIKE, I?m hoping to introduce readers to a diverse world of interesting stories. In the upcoming months, we?ll meet two computer consultants and the tattoo parlor that breaks the monotony of their business trip, some undesirable elements of the Atlantic City criminal underworld, a comic book artist successfully balancing family, art, and commerce, an immigrant escaping the horrors of the Iran/Iraq war, a washed-up actor planning his spectacular comeback, and much more.
