There’s not much to say here other then WOW. I’m a big reader of Editor & Publisher and try to read it every day so you can imagine how exciting it was to see this headline:
Blank Label Comics is Formed
Six cartoonists have banded together to form Blank Label Comics
Unfortunately that little icon means that you have to be a subscriber and that is neither of us here at DS. But that is no where near as important as the fact that one of the most prestigious news journals in the U.S. is giving the nod towards the BLC six.

Update: On top of E&P BLC was Slashdotted. So now not only have they been elevated they’ve got the traffic. If the web comics community ever needed a rising star it looks like we may just get one. (or 6)
